Fall means it is Wine Shipping Season!

I live in the suburbs of Houston, Texas.

We don’t experience gorgeous fall color. I don’t get to take part in harvest regularly.

So, for me, falling temps mean WINE SHIPPING SEASON!!

Pretty soon, wineries that I visited during the summer months will start shipping their gorgeous wines to me. I visited some cool places on my own and with the ladies of Women For WineSense, so I am excited for that to start.

I hope that is what cooler temps mean for you, as wine sellers, too.

Sure, you can wait and promote Thanksgiving and December holiday wine buying… but, instead, how about you take this opportunity now, while your gorgeous harvest pics are still bouncing around the internet, to remind those who have visited you or bought from you in the past that cooler temps mean the perfect time for buying wine online is NOW?!

You could do this on social with fun Instagram reels of your team packing boxes, stickering boxes, pulling bottles from your storage…. anything that shows your enthusiasm in getting your wine into the hands of those who will love it.

You can do the same with an email campaign… maybe a countdown to shipping day or happy customers enjoying your wine in the cooler weather. Remind them of how much fun they had while visiting you earlier this year and tell them how they can relive the joy with a 3-, 6- or 12-bottle bundle.

What do you think? Are you ready for Wine Shipping Season?
