You don’t have to travel to California this Fall to experience the wines of Napa and Sonoma.

If you are near Houston, just head on over to Kemah Boardwalk’s Third Annual Wine Festival Saturday, September 24 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. to mingle with winemakers and owners from Napa, Sonoma and Texas wineries for an afternoon of wine tasting with more than 50 selections to sample and live entertainment.

Plus, for the first time, Clear Creek Winery will provide Wine Fest attendees with the opportunity to participate in an official grape stomp kicking off the event from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Admission for the private, tented event from 2-4 p.m. is $35 per person (plus tax) in advance and $45 per person (plus tax) at the door. Tickets are on sale now and will be available for purchase online at  or by calling (281) 334-9880.

Participating wineries include:

  • Robert Mondavi
  • Franciscan Estates
  •  Ravenswood Clos Du Bois
  • Blackstone Simi
  • Mt Veeder Sterling Vineyards
  • Beaulieu Vineyards Rosenblum
  • Girard Vineyards Provenance
  • Hugo Family Cellars Acacia
  • Messina Hof Haak
  • Clear Creek Winery

Kemah Boardwalk is located at 215 Kipp Avenue, Kemah, Texas 77565.

I was so excited about the wine fest in kemah and it was my first time going to an event like this since i love wine so much! But as me and friend got there it was super packed and we had to wait so long in a line under the hot sun! If you know the heat and humid from texas like I do you would understand. So we finally got in the tent with 7 or less fans! no ac, and people were rude and wanted you to get in line if you weren’t while starring at you. This wine fest was absolutely horrible! and we only sampled 2!!!! because of so much people and heat! They did this event horribly!!! never again are we coming back!! WORST WINE FEST EVER!!
