Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail
The Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail offers views and award-winning wines from nine member wineries all found within an hour of the Houston area. Enjoy amazing Texas wines over an entire weekend–choosing from three weekends of events.
Event: Each host winery offers wines and cheeses and a packet of Texas wildflower seeds (while supplies last)
Dates: March 30 – 31, April 6 – 7, April 13 – 14
Time: Saturdays 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sundays 12 noon – 5:00 pm
Cost: $25 per single ticket or $40 for two tickets

Member wineries may have extended hours, but the trail hours listed above are official hours that each winery has agreed to be open. Contact each winery for individual hours to build the perfect weekend schedule for you.
Vinter’s Own Blind Tasting
Vintner’s Own Winery is hosting a monthly blind tasting.

Wine Foundation Course
The Texas Wine School offers wine education classes and tasting classes as well as certification programs to meet the needs of beginners and experts alike. One upcoming class that might be of interest is the Wine Foundation Course: Wines of Pacific Northwest.
Event: Wine course covering the basics of the Pacific Northwest

Registration: Wine Foundation Course
The course will look at the major grape varietals and the style of wines made, the climate, the soil and sub regions. The first week will introduce the region and its climate, topography, classic grapes, history, and future.
They will cover all the main regions of Oregon and Washington including in-depth emphasis on Willamette Valley and Yakima Valley.
Consider registering today as these courses often sell out quickly and this particular class will not be offered again until the fall.
Guest Sommelier Series
Philippe Restaurant + Lounge is hosting an ongoing Guest Sommelier Series.
The acclaimed Phil’s Wine Lounge downstairs at Philippe Restaurant is honored to host this event. Join Vanessa Trevino Boyd, resident Sommelier at Philippe, for intimate, informal round-table tastings from Christian Varas, one of Houston’s favorite Sommeliers.
